Imperfect Beauty: A Tribute to Love and Family

I’m thankful for the example of marriage that my parents have given Aaron and myself. I made this 12”x9” Rectangle Bouquet Block featuring their wedding photo in honor of their 45th anniversary. Aren’t they a handsome couple?! And they still are! 👩❤️👨

I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn and grow every single day. While my parents’ Block has been done for a long while, I refrained from posting it because of the mistakes I can see, most notably, the bleeding of resin through the lamination onto their photo. I like to think that it’s symbolic of the imperfect beauty of flowers, handmade art and, well, family! 😂

And I’m thankful for each and every one of you coming along on this floral journey with me.
