Now, with most of his commissions centered around remembrance, he takes time to connect with clients, often helping them grieve and heal through deeply personalized designs.
His recent projects, including a wooden table inlaid with memorial blooms, reflect his creative fusion of woodwork and florals—two mediums that come together in vibrant, meaningful ways. Join us as we explore his heartfelt story—one where flowers become more than keepsakes, but lasting tributes to love, loss, and memory.

Do you believe that flowers hold important memories and it’s important to preserve them?
when I started flower preservation I started on the premise that people would be able to keep items like their wedding bouquet instead of letting them die and it would be a lasting memory of their special day. But I was very soon to find out the importance that flowers held in the importance of memorial. And in fact most of my custom is now memorial flowers. It can be a very emotional time for a customer so spending time with them coming up with designs and ideas has massively highlighted what an important role they play in preserving the memory of someone’s life
Would you dedicate to preserving precious flowers for more and more people?
I now have official listings advertising my flower preservation service and it is rapidly becoming more popular. I really enjoy the process and the special meaning and will endeavour to continue to provide the service

During the years of flower preservation, you must try many brands of silica gel crystals. Why do you choose us at the end?
I have tried a few brands in my time doing flower preservation and I’ve spoken to a number of makers in the community lately and lots of them point to Wisedry as their go to silica !
I noticed there are a lot of wooden arts. Do you think there are any differences and similarities between wooden art and dried flowers art?
Sure. So the aspects and use between the 2 are clear. When it comes to wood with resin they generally appear side by side in addition to each other. When utilising the florals they are a main feature inside the resin and bring that extra vibrance and splash of colour. Both mediums have their own struggles when it comes to releasing air and bubbles so they have that in common! I have started trying to combine both elements as you can see in my current table project that is a wooden table with memorial flowers running all the way through the middle! It’s going to look amazing! I’ve already done this on a smaller scale with a serving board

Do you have any stories you can share with us that left a strong impression during your flower preservation work experiences?
A recent customer was really upset and distraught after losing her mother and couldn’t bear to lose the flowers or even dismantle them. So she drove for 2 hours to deliver the entire lot of funeral flowers to my workshop in person. That way she could see what I do and really talk about her mother and what she loved and enjoyed. That way we really got an idea of who she was and we were able to come up with designs together that really honoured her mother. She arrived with tears in her eyes and left with a smile on her face. That made me and what I do feel really special and really drive me to do what’s best for the customer and their loved ones

Thank you, Danny! We’re honored to be part of your creative journey.
