Linsey: Turning personal memories into timeless keepsakes of strength and love. @chelis.nl

Meet Linsey, a creator who turns life’s fleeting moments into lasting keepsakes. Her work is not just about preserving flowers—it’s about preserving emotions. From the joy of a wedding bouquet to the bittersweet memory of farewell blooms, every petal she seals in resin carries a story of love, loss, and strength.

What began as a personal journey through grief has blossomed into a craft rooted in empathy and artistry. Linsey’s approach is gentle and intentional—she listens, she cares, and she captures. Each piece she creates becomes a small sanctuary of memory, glowing with color and meaning.

We’re honored to have Linsey join the Wisedry family and to support her mission of helping others hold on to what truly matters.🌸✨

1. Can you do a little bit of an introduction of yourself first?

I’m a creative Dutchie who made a business out of what she loves to do. A part of my business is creating beautiful ornaments that capture the most important memories in life. I love to create something special, and I always let my customers decide every tiny detail and keep them up to date throughout the whole process. Besides that, I love flowers, I mean we all do, right? Making beautiful memories or statement pieces with them is what makes me love what I do.

2. Why did you decide to start your flower preservation journey? Is there a special moment?

When I lost the most important person in life, I had already been into resin art, so I was a little bit familiar with the possibilities. I just jumped into it and started creating.

3. During your years of flower preservation, you must have tried many brands of silica gel crystals. Why did you choose us in the end?

I have tried many things—small sand, bigger sand—and I noticed that the material you use is definitely affecting the results you get. Now I’ve been following you for a longer time, and every result I’ve seen is amazing—beautiful, strong flowers with amazing colors.

4. Have you preserved flowers with memories for others before?

Yes, I did. Mostly they are wedding flowers, but I also got a few funeral orders or just the first flowers a girl got from her partner.

5. Is there a story that left a strong impression on you?

Yes, recently I made a heart with the first flowers this woman got in her life. Unfortunately, while we were making it, the person who gave them had left her. I thought she would not want the ornament anymore, but instead, she told me she still wants it, as a reminder to be independent, strong, and always put yourself first. I love that much of a girl power.

6. If you could sum it up in one sentence, what does flower preservation mean to you?

It means people trust me with an important piece of memory in their life, and that trust means the world to me. It makes me want to help them get what they deserve—a beautiful ornament that shows the beauty of that memory.

7. Is there anything else you want to share with us?

I always like to give feedback and get feedback as well. Hope I can learn a lot and help you spread the word about your products.

Thank you, Linsey! We’re honored to be part of your creative journey.
