Jeri, can you do a little bit of an introduction of yourself first?

Sure! My name is Jeri. I'm a mom of three beautiful girls! Lillie, Violet and Delilah, my flower babies.We love foraging for art supplies! Mostly in our yard for wild flowers! I've been doing resin art as a hobby for about 3 years now. I have always had a passion for drying flowers and have been doing so for as long as i can remember. I'm a bit of a weirdo and can be a bit awkward at times.

Hahah, no worries. How did you start your flower preservation journey? Is there a special moment?

While I’ve been drying flowers for as long as I can remember, It wasn’t until about 2 and a 1/2 years ago I got a lot more serious. Not just about drying flowers but preserving them. A good friend of mine started a hobby of growing beautiful Vanda orchids! He approached me About wanting to use his flowers in my resin art… That’s when I went looking and found your product! From orchids as big as your hand to as tiny as your pinky nail. They are such a delicate flower. Finding a product that didn’t damage them and preserves their beautiful color!

That’s wonderful. Have you try other brands’ silica gel crystals? Why do you choose us at the end?

I got really lucky. I did a lot of research before I decided to buy. Money is fairly tight.. So buying a bunch of different products to try just isn’t an option. After a few weeks of research and reading reviews. I went with wisedry and I have no regrets!

Have you preserved flowers with memories for others? What does it feels like?

One of the first projects I did was a bouquet for a bride! It was exciting, nerve-racking, and so fun! Lol Currently I’m working on some pieces from a bouquet of flowers from a funeral. It’s an absolute honor to make something.This meaningful for someone. It really gives me great pride to make memory pieces. I just finished up a kind of odd project.A customer requested a few trinket dishes with kidney stones from her pets… Kind of odd but it was really fun and she absolutely loved them.

During the career, you must have preserved memories fore many people. Is there a story that leaves you a stong impression?

One of my favorite things to make is my floral skulls. It’s one of my most popular items. One of my best friends Put an order in for one for his sister.unfortunately, he passed away in a motorcycle accident. I presented her with the floral skull at his funeral. That was probably the most meaningful piece ive ever made. His family is giving me flowers from the funeral so i can make them something special as well. Ive made a few memory pieces from funeral flowers a few from wedding flowers and quite a few with My friend’s orchids and them.

It’s very meaning. I feel so sorry for your friend. If you could sum it up in one sentence, what does flower preservation mean to you?

Flower preservation is such a unique fun way to preserve special memories for ALL kinds of occasions, It’s such an honor when someone chooses me to make that special piece for them.
