Welcome! This is a comprehensive, beginner-friendly kit for creating your own flower drying art, from drying flowers to displaying them. In this tutorial, we will guide you through every step. Now let’s get started!
How to Use
Step 1: Prepare the spill-proof mat to contain mess for easy cleaning.
Step 2: Gently trim the flower stem to the maximum length that fits comfortably inside the jar.
Why: Drying may cause flowers to shrink, so preserving the full stem length allows for greater flexibility in trimming and arranging your dried flowers.
Step 3: Slowly pour in flower-drying crystals until the flower is fully covered.
Step 4: Seal the jar, store it in a cool, dry place. In 5-10 days, check the dryness level of the petals.
*Drying time will vary depending on the types of flowers. When drying more than one flower, it is best to dry flowers of the same type in one jar.
Step 5: When the flower is dried, carefully pour out the flower and gently brush off the remaining crystals on the petals.
Step 6: When completed, place the flower in the jar and close the lid for an airtight display.
*For upright display, you could trim the bottom of the stem flat and affix it to the lid using a small amount of glue.
